Enroll in Health and Insurance Benefits

For some benefits — such as Basic Life Insurance, Basic AD&D Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and the Employee Assistance Program — you are automatically enrolled on your hire date, but there are plan options available to you.

For most other benefits, you have 30 days from your hire date to enroll in your Conga health and insurance benefits. If you do not take action, you won’t have coverage. Your next opportunity to enroll in benefits will be during our Open Enrollment held each year in the fall, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as a birth or a marriage.

Who Can Enroll in Conga Benefits?

You’re eligible to enroll in Conga’s benefits program if you’re an active, regular employee who’s scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week. You may also cover your eligible dependents under Conga’s medical, prescription, dental, vision, and life benefits.

Your eligible dependents include:

  • Legal spouse or domestic partner
  • Your dependent children (including your stepchild and legally adopted child) up to age 26
  • Any dependent child who reaches the age limit and is incapable of self-support because of a mental or physical disability

How to Enroll

After reviewing your benefit options, make your enrollment selections within 30 days of your hire date.

Make Your Elections

First day? Relax; you’re covered starting day one. You’ll use Workday for most of your benefits enrollment tasks. Although your benefits coverage is effective on your hire date, be sure to enroll within 30 days of your hire date to keep your coverage.

Review Your Benefit and Program Offerings

During your first week, you’ll receive a task in Workday to enroll in benefits. Be sure to first check out our medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other offerings to determine which plans best fit your needs. And see who you can cover under our plans.

Note: You have 30 days from your hire date to enroll in benefits, but on your first day, you won’t see your benefits task waiting for you in Workday. You’ll have to go through some of your onboarding tasks first, such as your I-9 verification. If you stay on top of your onboarding tasks, you should receive the benefits task by the end of your first week. Benefits enrollment comes after the Review Documents steps.

Important Reminders!
  • Be sure to provide the necessary dependent information to enroll eligible family members.
  • Make sure you’ve provided beneficiary information for your life insurance.
  • Please contact the payroll team and advise them of any prior 401k contributions with your former employer. You can easily locate this on your last pay statement under YTD Contributions or by calling the payroll department. Advising the payroll team of this will help to avoid any over contributions/penalties if they can.

Save For the Future

You can invest for retirement with easy payroll deductions through Fidelity. You are immediately eligible to enroll on your date of hire. If you don’t take any enrollment action — either enrolling or opting out — within 35 days of becoming eligible, you will be automatically enrolled, and 4% of your eligible before-tax pay will be invested in an age-appropriate target date fund. You may change your contribution rate and investment elections at any time.
